Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. The following terms apply to reservations made directly with Excel Hotels & Resorts, Kotabagh, Jim Corbett. Bookings made through online travel agencies are governed by the cancellation terms of the respective platform.
Cancellation Charges
- 7 days or more before check-in: free cancellation — full refund of the advance paid.
- 3–6 days before check-in: 50% of the booking amount is charged; the balance is refunded.
- Within 72 hours of check-in, no-show or early departure: no refund; the full booking amount is charged.
Date Amendments
One complimentary date change is permitted up to 7 days before check-in, subject to availability and seasonal rate differences. Amendments within 7 days of check-in are treated as a cancellation and re-booking.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original mode of payment. Bank or payment-gateway charges, if any, are non-refundable.
Safari, Events & Group Bookings
Jim Corbett safari permits once issued are non-refundable and non-transferable as per forest department rules. Weddings, corporate events and group bookings carry separate cancellation terms that are shared in writing at the time of confirmation.
How to Cancel
To cancel or amend a reservation, message us on WhatsApp or write to us with your booking name and dates. Cancellations are confirmed in writing along with the applicable refund amount.
